Automated Guided Carrier

This is the first prototype for the Automated Guided Carrier (AGC), which is being developed in conjunction with Royal Mail. Small numbers of AGCs will shuttle between machines in automated mail sorting offices, carrying mail between processes. The AGCs are equipped with an onboard PC and radio LAN. This allows them to communicate with each other and with a central controller, enabling both local and centralised management of mail portering.
